1979 - The first company, Union Function was established in Taiwan, operated as a supplier of high-tech components and equipments to the emerging  computer industry. They import components from industry leader like Sprague, Raychem, Fil-Mag, GMN,  Takatory, and distributed it to all Asia countries like Taiwan, Hong kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan etc.

1985 - The second company, Function Telecommunications Co., Ltd. was formed in Taiwan as a manufacturer for all kind of high-tech telecommunications products. They design, manufacture, distributed and service the need of  fast expansion world wide market.

1986 - The 3rd Company, Advance Telecom Concepts was also formed in 1986 dedicated of payphone manufacture  for the newly deregulated U.S. market. 

1988 - Oriental Supplies Corporation, located in Marietta, Georgia in USA. was formed in 1988 to handle the U.S. distribution of the ATC payphone products line and the feedback marketing and engineering information back to ATC.

1991 - AmTel Technologies , Inc. was joined to Function Group, They located in Orlando, Florida in USA AmTel is a high-tech R&D house and software development laboratory. Its professional staff has more than 30 years of experience in electronic engineering and payphone design. They develop and support the latest technology to all member of Function Group's company.

1993 - OTC Telecom, located in Marietta, Georgia, U.S.A. was formed in 1993 to assume responsibility for the U.S. distribution of all Function productss. OTC warehouses and ships products to South and Central America and all over the United States through it's distribution network.

Feb. 1998 - FUNCTION (CAYMAN) HOLDING was organized to integrate the whole group's resources and acted as a stock holding company and financial center.
